This new SL series of Mercedes-Benz is a new generation fixed-hardtop of previous SL version. It is really different with previous version, by ditching the mechanicals for the folding hardtop and the body made from carbon fiber so it makes this 2010 Mercedes-Benz SL65 AMG Black Series has weighs in 570 pounds lighter. The significant differences is it use an adjustable coil spring suspension replaces the heavy electro-hydraulic Active Body Control suspension.

SL65 Black Series has a new look than previous, the muscular rear wheel arches to accommodate larger wheels and a wider body makes this new SL Series looks very different with pervious version. The tape across the side suggests no loss of definition here, and the doors are exposed because they are among the few large body panels still fashioned of steel, rather than carbon fiber. The retractable spoiler generates up to 77 pounds of down force at higher speeds.

Power source engine comes from a retuned version of the SL65 AMG's twin-turbo with 36-valve, 6.0-litre V12 that develops 661 horsepower also 738 lb-ft of torque. It has automatic 5-speed transmission with rev matching. The top speed can achieve 318 km/h.
